This is for jieyi's :iconjieyi: 2008 Think of the Children: Fairy-Tales Project. I had Rumpelstiltskin to illustrate, and the writer for it is :iconyil3e:. You can see the list of other stories here: [link] and the corresponding artists and writers from the links at the top of that page.

Not much to say about the illustration except it took awhile and that the light source is magically coming from nowhere ;P. It was nice to do an illustration of an indoor scene for once.

this is so gorgeous ;_; no worries for the lighting, i mean...you should be worried (cuz its allways important XD) but not in this cuz it looks awesome XDXD, i suck at it and i think u rock :D

The only mistake is the source of lighting (as you have previously mentioned) , everything else is almost perfect, especially those pretty cool colors ^^.

Wow, that's awesome. Love the textured brushstrokes on the ceiling beams, and the orange and blue color scheme is subtle but nicely incorporated into the whole piece.

So you're on that project too! A lot of illustrators I admire are taking part, apparently! :D
