This is intended for the DW4 mini-contest for "Generals Portrait". The lining was left simple so I could focus on coloring, the deadline is like....tomorrow.

I don't know if I'll be entered, the way these websites handle the contest is kind of absurd, they make you post a wip in a giant thread, then when you try to post it tells you that your posts have to pass through a moderator before they can even be seen, even a regular one sentence post I made is awaiting moderation viewing, what the hell kind of structure is this? I can't ask for help there because it's not passing moderation.

I was going to try cgsociety instead but the place looks structured in the same ancient way. So I don't know, this might end up being a waste of time. I guess at the least it gave me some material to post here xD

cghub cghub cghub!!! the DWIV thread there is HUGE and people will def. help out :) Though because the deadline is tomorrow and CGhub is still rather small, I don't know how much feedback you'll be getting.... but for what it's worth, beautiful image :)

thx jinju, I'll have to sign up there, I didn't know they were part of it too. There might be a problem if my posts eventually pass moderation, the rules say that once you post at one site you can't post in another, like it's traitorous or something stupid like that :(

I might just let this mini slide and wait for the main one.

Well I think this is tremendous, cghub or not. I especially like the glistening eyes. It really gives life to this, and it's one of my motivations for fav'ing this.
