Sketch painting, not a fast sketch. She's kinda Vampire Hunter D looking I think. I'm guessing most people will like the bottom one since dull is in style, the bottom one does have a better sense of volume though I think. But I like the top one for the candy-like colors.

Heheheh, well I for one like 'em both. I find I'm partial to the top one, for the sumptuous color palette, but I'm always a sucker for rich well-placed color. :3
I like the bottom one for the aloof, almost icy feel to the girl; the drastic change in her complexion and surroundings suggest to me that she's the bitch of the two. I am absolutely in love with the shininess of their hats; it's almost as if they've been cast in metal.
Gorgeous texturing, and the flowing checkerboard of the clothing that blend into the almost cubist shapes in the foreground really catch the eye. A definite fave, and like much of your work, one that I'd love to see hanging on my wall. :3

"No."

i like them both for different reasons.
i like how the colors are sketchy in both, and how there's a greater contrast in the top one.
